Continuing our Designer Series of tiki mugs, we asked artist Becky Cloonan to come up with a design, and our only request was “something with a Grim Reaper.” And she delivered- big time! Splendor & Riches Designer Series Tiki Mug- something like a cross between a Catholic candle and something from the Sediec Ossuary, is sculpted by Tufan Sezer & Mike Bonanno, and produced by our friends at Tiki Farm, stands approx. 7.” tall, and holds 22oz . The Exsanguine version of Splendor and Riches features a white glaze base, with a red wipe.

About the design, Cloonan says: "This mug was inspired by a Latin funerary inscription on a Roman gravestone dating back to the 5th century AD:

Not splendor nor riches,
But tranquility of spirit and body Is provided here.
So until then may we all find splendor and riches in this life

— be it love, friendship, or a surprise at the bottom of a mug!"
